The walkthroughs they do are useless because they really don't look at your property. ![]() They will nickel and dime you for any visits they do. I wouldn't recommend this company to a fellow investors/home owners. Yes, they are cheaper than most management company, but you will be paying the price. I can go on and on about this «Management» company, but there are just too much things to say. Takes Omnikey weeks/months before they would do anything. Tenants would request a repair for the property and we would approve it to get fixed. But they are so quick to charge you for clean outs. They let new tenants move in to the property without properly cleaning the house. We had mentioned this to the billing department, but the billing department was the worst department because they never respond. Omnikey NEVER pays your bill on time and there was ALWAYS a late fee. They never mentioned anything to us and a tenant had to complain about a leak on the property. We had multiple water leaks on the properties, but not once did Omnikey stop and think, why is the water bill was so high. ![]() They never got around in billing back the tenants. Omnikey was to bill back each of the tenants for the water bill. We have multiple 4plexes that they managed and as the owner we had to pay for water bill. Seems like they have to keep hiring new employees, because they can never keep them. Omnikey has the worst turn arounds on employees. When you do find that person to work with, they leave the company. Don't get me wrong not everyone was bad at their job, some employees were good but it was so rare. If this is your management company you need to move and find another.Īny to get some kind of response. Indeed I doubt I’ll see any repair or replacement to the appliance before leaving that will have been broken for the entire last month of my lease. Not only that but I have yet to see any repair/new appliance from the ticket I sent in before I was going to be promoted. On top of all this they didn’t start making “violations” until after I had let them know my intentions of moving based on a promotion within my company. I haven’t even been able to get anyone at OmniKey to reach out to me other then through their impersonal “resident app”. Conquest Property Management who had my lease for 15 months treated me so much better and had a working relationship with me. It’s absurd how they treat the people in the property’s they manage. Not only that but repairs I pointed out to their walkthrough agent came back as violations. ![]() I have not received any instruction I asked for prior to moving out, I will be documenting and taking photos of everything before I leave. … – showĪuse they inherited my lease on a month to month basis I know I’ll have to fight for every penny. I do not enjoy unexpected surprises like no electricity or no running water and literally nothing that I can do about it as a renter. This is been the most unpleasant renting experience I have ever had. Meanwhile, I have no running water at my house. It needs to come from OmniKey, which was never done! I call the number since this qualifies as an emergency and no one has any idea what to do about it. I call the water company and am not allowed to pay the water bill because I am not listed as a renter. So you can take our money, but not provide us with proper living conditions? Cut to two months later when our water gets shut off. Again, this needed to be done before allowing renters in the property. We asked if we could pay the fee to get the inspection done, but could not because it had to come from OmniKey. Disadvantages Do not rent from them if you value your sanity! We did not have power for 7 days because they did not get the proper inspection done BEFORE allowing us to rent the property.
